If you are a hardcore party animal, then Pattaya is the best vacation destination for you. With a buzzing nightlife, Pattaya attracts many tourists who go by the rule of ‘work hard and party harder’. How to spend 1 day in Pattaya?

Start off your 24 hours in Pattaya by having a hefty breakfast. Step into a fine restaurant and order Khao Tom - an authentic Thai breakfast dish. Then make your first stop of the day at Sanctuary of Truth. This religious building is carved entirely in wood and is filled with magnificent sculptures. The structure primarily represents Thai style of architecture from the Ayutthaya period. Then make your way towards Mini Siam. This is a miniature park which has replicas of many popular Siami and European monuments. These include the Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, Sydney Opera House, Statue of Liberty, Wat Phra Kaew, Wat Arun, Ayutthaya Historical Park, and many more.

As afternoon approaches make your way to the Pattaya Beach. You may have a delicious lunch at any of the numerous restaurants lined along this beach. There are a few floating restaurants too, if you wish to enjoy a unique experience. You may indulge in a number of water sports like parasailing, speed-boating, and jet skiing at the Pattaya Beach. There are many shops along the Pattaya Beach Road for you to explore. After enjoying the sun, sand, and sea to your heart’s content, head towards the Phra Tamnak Mountain. Here, you will come across a hilltop temple which also offers panoramic vistas of the surroundings.

As the sun starts setting in the west, hurry towards Wat Phra Yai. This is an iconic Buddhist temple, famous for housing a giant 39-foot tall statue of Buddha, painted in gold. Once you have taken in all that this temple has to offer, make a return journey along the same route to reach Pattaya Walking Street. This place comes alive at night, drawing tourists to taste the nightlife of Pattaya. Along the Walking Street there are live music venues, restaurants, bars, discothèques, nightclubs, and hotels.
