The smaller of the famous peaks in Rio, Morro Da Urca is located close to the Sugar Loaf Mountain. The cable car from Praia Vermelha stops first atop this mountain before proceeding to the bigger Sugar Loaf. The view offered here are stunning despite the mountain being 720 feet tall which is half the size of Sugar Loaf. There are hiking trails on this mountain as well and experienced hiker venture to the peak via these. There is a visitor’s centre for assistance and information at the top that sells souvenirs, snacks and beverages. There are elevators for access to the viewpoint and restrooms.
