Boasting to be the second largest of the Grenadines islands, Bequia is one of the top destinations to visit in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It is recommended that you take the windward coast trail which is moderately difficult and offers spectacular vistas. Starting in Rabacca near Georgetown and hiking along a 2-hour path, you reach the edge of the crater. Walking further down the crater, you can also explore the active dome which adds further to the thrilling experience.

Leaving Saint Vincent and the Grenadines without a day of diving or snorkeling in Tobago Cays would be a crime. An archipelago of five uninhabited islands, this place is marked with amazing coral reefs and abundant marine life. Saint Vincent and the Grenadines wasn’t always this Caribbean paradise and a witness to its turbulent past is Fort Charlotte. Perched on the top of a hill, almost 600 feet above sea level, this fort once housed about 600 troops along with 30 canons, although you might get to see very few during your visit. On side of Fort Charlotte, you will see the vast bluest of the blue expanse and on the other side, the fort offers stunning views of Kingstown.

Taking a dip into the cool waters of Falls of Baleine is one of the most rejuvenating things to do in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Cascading over 60 feet, the Falls of Baleine is a gorgeous sight to behold. Since it is difficult to reach the waterfall and can be usually accessed only by boats, it is kind of a hidden gem. Mayreau has the perfect set up to enjoy a laid back one day trip when in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Known to be the smallest of the inhabited islands, it is ideal to be explored on foot. 8. Wander through the St Vincent Botanical Gardens

Established way back in 1765, St Vincent Botanical Gardens is a green oasis and one of the best places to visit in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Walking along the well-paved tracks of this 20-acre land, you will come across some rare species of plants. And don’t be startled if you hear a parrot hawk as you wander through the gardens, for they are also home to the vulnerable St Vincent Parrot, ‘Amazona Guildingii’, the National Bird.

9. Bask in the laid back vibes of Union Island

Union Island is yet another town in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines that revels in its slow-paced charm. The remotely located Union island is your gateway to escape the hustle and bustle of the city life. If you wish to enjoy your Caribbean vacation in solitude, then the Union island would be an ideal choice. Once done with sunbathing on the beach, you can always go snorkeling to admire the underwater world.

10. Unleash the pirate in you at Wallilabou Bay

At any other time, you would have found Wallilabou Bay to be like any other place in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines where yachts and sailboats bobbed on the blue waters. But things changed in 2003 when Wallilabou Bay was chosen as the prime filming location of Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Now a popular destination amongst the movie fans, you get to see the film’s preserved set and know how the movie was filmed at the onsite museum. Numerous photos of the cast and crew are a treat for Jack Sparrow’s fans.

11. Catch a tan at the beaches of Canouan

Blessed with a picturesque landscape and abundant marine life, Canouan is an island worth visiting in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. Although a major part of the island is occupied by a resort, the lovely sandy stretches and the towering Mount Royal of Canouan hold high the Caribbean charm. Take a day trip to this island and spend a day either relaxing on the beaches or splashing in the waters.

12. Go chasing the Dark View Falls

Nestled in the Richmond Valley, the Dark View Falls offers the perfect setting to enjoy a day picnic with family and friends. The sight of this double waterfall equals to a heavenly view and makes you want to jump in for a bath as soon as you discover it. Driving along the Leeward Highway, you will see a small sign at the northern end, between Chateaubelair and Richmond, leading you closer to the waterfall.
